We must allocate the same attention we give to choosing a ceremonial dress to choosing accessories, especially bags.
Preferring one bag over another always means a great deal of work. In this article, we list a few proposals available from Charme Canaris.
First of all, let’s clarify: pouch or clutch?
Our customers often ask us to match the dress with a pouch or a clutch, mistaking them forthe same thing. That is not the case! They are two different types of bags, and here we explain why.
The pouch is a small, soft bag that can be carried by hand or shoulder, thanks to its accompanying shoulder strap.
The clutch is a revelation of recent years. It is a very small, rigid bag with an interlock or clip closureto be carried by hand. In some cases, the clutch even has its own thin, metal shoulder strap.
Which models to choose.
It all depends on your style and the dress you settled on for the event.
For very formal outfits, combining super mini and shoulder-less handbags is advised. If the type of ceremony allows it, opt for a clutch with a shoulder strap instead, which is more casual and allows you to move more comfortably.
All black clutch.
All black is a timeless classic in elegance par excellence.
A black clutch paired with long dresses makes the woman holding it extremely fine.
Colorful and original.
We recommend sequins, bright colors, and eccentric patterns for those who like to dare or want people to focus on their accessory. The watchwords in this case are: originality and character.
Pay attention, though, to combine them with soft-colored clothes without patterns or special characteristics: remember that you are invited to a ceremony, not to a carnival!
Dresses that are minimal and with simple lines need to be combined with jeweled bags.
Glamorous little coffers with stones, applications, strass, jewel chatons settings, gold details, and sophisticated clasps—these precious bags give your look a super chic touch that will make you unique!
